Enter The Dragon represents my first serious attempt at designing artwork for a physical CD release. This project came together over several months of work in the winter of 2007/2008. By chance I used a font by the name of Hybrid, designed by my friend Ola Björling for the eponymous Swedish techno record label.
This project was printed on CDs using Kunaki’s automated manufacturing process:
Most of the artwork for this album is completely synthesized but I did borrow some source material: Ernst Haeckel’s lithograph of the Ophiodea from Kunstformen der Natur, now in the public domain. Here is the original:
